Our Story

Robert (or Anthony as he is known on his side of the family) and I met while working on the TV show “What If” back in 2018. After the initial building of the sets on stage, I was put in charge of running Locations and doing any work or modifications that were needed for the show. Robert was given the task of being my Location labor, and unbeknownst to me at the time was told by his foreman and good friend, Art: “Meet your new best friend.” For over 3 months, Robert, our painter Frank, and our driver Mondo were forced to deal with my Google obsession and the rabbit holes it would send me down (often to their dismay.) I mean, inquisitive minds want to know, right?!? Lol. Robert also developed a fondness for my list making abilities. But mostly, we got to spend a lot of time getting to know about each other’s lives, recommend activities and restaurants, and do some MacGyver-worthy problem solving all across Los Angeles.

After the show wrapped in March of 2019, we went our separate ways. When I was hired by the Construction Coordinator of “What If” to be his new General Foreman for the show “Dead to Me S2” in August of 2019, Robert was again brought on to the crew by Art, the Labor Foreman. We started to form our core crew and as you do when you spend so much time together, we celebrated the good things in each other’s lives, commiserated about the bad, and mostly just continued to learn about each other.

We would come and go as a crew as our shows would end and new ones would begin, often with months in between when we all would go our separate ways. Together though, we worked on Dead to Me S3 (with its Covid and actor availability drama), Barry S4 (with its crazy, challenging sets and continued Covid drama), Hydra/Mere Mortals (and its writer strike drama), and then Running Point S1 (thankfully only regular show drama), and Running Point S2 (happy to be back with familiar show drama and hoping for a S3).

As happens in life, relationships fall apart and new ones begin. We realized that beyond our mutual respect and admiration for each other, feelings had developed. With a similar outlook on life, religious beliefs, and, best of all, sense of humor, we discovered that we were a good fit. (Though Robert knew it before I did… I took some convincing.) We wrapped the first season of Running Point in mid-June 2024 and spent the following months, through hours and hours (and hours and hours) of phone conversations, continuing to really get to know each other on a more intimate level. We “officially” started going out in July 2024 and even went to the Magic Castle for my birthday in August with Robert’s brother, Craig, and our friend Cindy. (Such a magical night…haha!)

Things continued to develop, and eventually on February 14th 2025, we moved in together. We’ve been blessed with opportunities to get to know each other’s families and friends, celebrating the highs and the lows that life brings, and even to grow our own little family by adopting a kitten named Flea this past Thanksgiving (while still chasing after our other furbabies, Ranger (husky), Buddy and Bug (cats)). We got engaged in January in front of Robert’s family, at a party celebrating the birthdays of his dad and two nephews (although I told him he wasn’t allowed to since it was their day…but I’m glad he didn’t listen and I was definitely surprised!) We didn’t know how true Art’s words would be these eight years later (time sure does fly) as we have truly become each other’s best friend and person! And now we look forward to our wedding day, June 27, 2026... (Don’t be late or you’ll miss the boat…literally!)

We are beyond excited to celebrate our wedding and all of our future adventures with you all! Thank you for being our FAMILY!
